Elements
Filter elements are critical components designed to remove solid and liquid contaminants from compressed air. They use surface or depth filtration methods to capture particles, oil aerosols, and moisture, protecting equipment and ensuring clean, high-quality air for industrial processes.
Purifying compressed air is essential because it contains contaminants such as airborne particles, moisture, microbes, and chemical gases that enter compressors and become more concentrated—and harmful—when compressed. Inside the compressed air system, hard particles like desiccant dust, rust, pipe scale, metal oxides, and dirt can damage equipment and piping, leading to system damage and the generation of even more particles. These impurities, which also include oil and microorganisms, can be effectively removed by using a proper filtration system.
